Tag I guess I'm it!

Okay so here is how it works: You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name. After you've been tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and answers. At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for details).

Okay so my middle name is Kay:

Kilkennyish: (there is a county in Ireland called Kilkenny) mainly because I've always wished that I had a bit of Irish blood running through my veins but alas I am no more Irish then I am a Koala. I really just have an infatuation with Ireland and Irish culture.

Adventuress: I like going new places and seeing and doing new things. However I do not enjoy eating new food. Its hard for me to man up and get the courage to put something strange in my mouth, but eventually I do it or someone else does around me and I count that.

Yeller: I find that I shout more words then actually need to be shouted. If you don't believe me then you obviously haven't spent much time around me.

I tag Aimee, Carly and Kari

Vegas Woes

Saturday March something (I can never remember dates) two of my friends and I decided to head to Vegas for girls night out. We were basically going there to eat at the cheesecake factory (well worth a 2 hour trip). So we left kind of late mainly because we all had stuff we needed to finish so dinner would be around 8. So we all loaded up in my car and headed done to Vegas to visit Caesar's palace. When we finally arrived we got lost not just once but probably around 3 times I mean it shouldn't be that hard to find Caesar's palace. Anyways we ended up going in places that we shouldn't have been driving in we got lost in the Vale section of one hotel and finally escaped that. When we finally got in the right direction we missed our turn so we ended up parking at the casino next to Caesar's palace which was fine with us. We could walk a block and all would be okay. Well as soon as we left the parking garage and were in the casino my shoe broke. I then had to hobble down the Las Vegas Blvd till I could find a place to get a new pair of shoes. Well we ended up at the forum shops, everything there pretty much costs a ton of money, something I don't have. So again I had to hobble along till I could find an affordable pair of shoes. I ended up getting a pair of flats at gap which was fine except that my pants were then too long and dragged on the floor. We finally got to the Cheesecake Factory and were told the wait would be about 30 minutes. So to kill time we went to play on the giant piano at the toy store. That's always fun. Well we finally got to eat around 9. Well as soon as we got up my ankle kind of gave out on me so again I had to hobble, also i got a new shoe blister. Yay for Vegas and to make things worse the hem in my pant gave out so they were event longer. To make matters worse all of this happened to my left leg. I mean what are the chances that all of this would happen and then to have it all happen on one side. I don't think I'll be making a trip out to Vegas anytime soon. We then got home around 2 I was exhausted with all of the events of the day that I crashed.

Spring Break Cakes

So since this past week was spring break it was also the week of weddings. Which to me means wedding cakes. My sister, Carly, and I had two cakes one on Friday and one on Saturday. So we had to hurry and make the cakes before she left town the Friday before spring break, this was a day when one of the cakes was needed. So we finished all the cakes on Thursday. Friday the cake was delivered on Friday at 4:30. So we got there and the family was there and had the cake topper ready. This allowed me to decorate the cake and leave, that's how I like it. But the cake on Saturday was a completely different story. I was supposed to show up around 4:00, I got there a bit early thinking that everything would go as planned and I would be able to leave within a half hour. Well an hour and a half later about the time that the reception started the bride finally arrived with a cake topper. Now I was told that there would just be flowers to put on the cake but that wasn't the case. So I put on the cake topper (after I had already made something out of ribbon so I could get out of this strange place). After I finished I took my picture and left. Apparently however the flowers arrived right after I left. The bride then decided that she was going to put them on to make it look tropical. Now I didn't see it but from what I heard was that before the flowers went on people were willing to tell others that I made the cake, but then after the huge, bright flowers went on the cake they were unwilling to say who made the cake. What the heck! Apparently the cake was just ugly with the flowers on it. We designed the cake for pretty white flowers and then, the bride who not only showed up late by about and hour also ruined my beautiful cake. If your going to tell someone to be somewhere a certain time you should probably be there with everything that will be needed to complete the task. Blast it all! We were doing this cake as a favor because I didn't charge hardly anything for it, never again! I am just furious about it. I also did a cake for the hospital radiology department. It was in the shape of a butt. It was pretty funny all I could do was laugh when I was decorating it and everything.
